Guided by Jenny Bach, Holistic Beekeeper
Have you ever wanted to see a live bee hive and harvest honey? Bee Love Apiaries offers exceptional tours at our organic developing farm located on the Hamakua Coast, 20 minutes from Hilo. We have an organic apiary (bee farm) and host educational tours and workshops often.
During the retreat we will walk to the apiary (bee farm) and meet the honeybee colonies, explore holistic and organic beekeeping practices and taste honey from our region.
This experience/tour is hands-on. You will put on a bee protective suit and join beekeepers to open hives, taste honey and enjoy honey and farm products overlooking the ocean and Mauna Kea. After viewing bee hives, we will extract honey together and explore the products/foods made from honey, wax and pollen.
Our tours provide you with meeting a loving family from Hawaii that is passionate about food resiliency and sustainability. You will walk away with love for honeybees and may inspire you to become a beekeeper and understand the magical process of honey production. Expect to be fascinated!

Hosting the most impressively diverse locally grown and produced products of the island, the bi-weekly Farmers Market at Parker Ranch Stables offers delectable ingredients, island-made gifts and indulgent prepared foods for a scrumptious lunch.

Guests are encouraged to join us for all the cooking, farm excursions & yoga we have planned!!
Yet we respect that each individual has their unique rhythms….so join us for all, some or even just one of the elements offered. We encourage you to explore on your own or simply take time to rest as desired.

Jasmine Silverstein
Chef Jasmine’s passion for food and cooking is deeply rooted in the Big Island where she was raised on her family’s organic farm, and was involved in the planting, harvesting, and processing of produce from the land. Inspiration for her creations comes from the food itself, and the nutritional qualities inherent within all whole, real foods. She sees cooking as a way to connect more closely with her community and her home – the farmers, healers, chefs, consumers, and the land itself – by sourcing ingredients from local, sustainable, and ethical farmers. As a personal caterer, she enjoys being innovative with recipes in order to tailor dishes to your specific needs.
Jasmine’s menus are based around what is available seasonally and locally. She works directly with local farmers, as well as sourcing from her family’s organic farm on the east side of the Big Island, in order to bring the best possible quality and flavor to her preparations.
Jasmine is also a Certified Holistic Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, as well as a Certified Master Food Preserver, and she is continually expanding her knowledge and understanding of food and healing. She teaches workshops on fermented foods and whole foods based cooking classes in order to spread the awareness of food as medicine. On her own time, Jasmine finds peace in yoga, nature, and travel adventures.

Paiden began her journey in the healing arts in 2018 with the modality of Reiki. Throughout her training she developed skills in working with the subtle energy field of the body, chakra alignment and understanding the connection between the mind, body and soul.
